The story i choose was what is effected by climate change, which in this case is sea level rising at a drastic rate. I choose this story because it is so close to home and I wanted to illustrate the events happening around the world can also effect us in our own backyard.
I believe I did well, I wanted to illustrate the beauty of Laguna Beach and how we should not take what we have for-granted before it is to late to even enjoy the beauty of California.
I believe the best image out of this collage is the photo overlooking the ocean and the huge rock, I choose this photo because when I was around 13 years old I used to come to this cliff to admire the view over the water overlooking that huge rock. Since that was roughly six years ago, climate change has exceeded greatly in temperatures resulting in the polar ice caps to melt at a much faster rate which has lead to the expansion of sea level rising. With this photo it illustrates that at this rate, that childhood rock is going to disappear into the ocean.
I believe that the photos all listed in this blog post all have their own symbolic meaning which in the end result help me illustrate my story on climate change effecting sea level.
The thing that I would do differently next time is to take lots of snacks, because I had gotten very hungry sitting and standing taking pictures.
Another photo story I would be passionate in telling is related to bullying, I feel as if bullying is a key factor to many peoples link to depression and the feeling of anxiety from speaking to others because of fear of being judged or being mocked.
