WK/Idea 6: ShOcKiNg ArT

I chose this idea because star wars plays so closely art heart for me. I grew up watching star wars and I immediately fell in love with it because on how different it was and how it really broadens your imagination.

I hoped to communicate that there will always be a greater evil but also a counter part to that and two great examples of that are Kylo Ren and Yoda.

I believe both were very successful in accomplishing what they were distend to do. For instance, Yoda was someone who wanted to bring peace to the galaxy, and at many years of battle him and the Jedi order were fighting to the end, to maintain peace against the Dark Side. With time the Jedi order collapsed and led to a new ruler of the Dark Side, Kylo ren. Kylo wanted to conquer the entire galaxy. He would do anything, literally anything to make that dream become a reality. He went to the extent to killing his father, Han Solo just to prove a point that he was loyal and proven destined to be head of the Dark Side. With this Kylo was set on ruling the galaxy until he met the love of his life who ultimately shifted him onto the good side which resulted in his swift death on saving her from death.

I would have like to have more time to draw more characters, I really enjoy drawing especially when its something I have a special connection with.

Another idea I might consider to explore is with the Netflix Series ‘Stranger Things’ which depicts friendship and always sticking together no matter what happens.
